After
a successful 2006 season, winning First in Class for Pre-War Rolls-Royce
at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, J.W. Millegan's one of a kind,
L'Cars restored Phantom III is off to a great start in 2007!
Starting with an invitation to the number one vintage car show in Europe, the
Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, the H.J. Mulliner-bodied convertible
brought home the Trofeo BMW Group Mobile Traditon awarded for "The most
sensitive restoration by the Jury." While at the show, the car was also
awarded a FIVA A-3 designation, signifying "A restored vehicle to
standard specification as delivered by Manufacturer."
Following the wins at Pebble Beach and Villa d'Este, the 1938 All-Weather
Convertible continued on to a First in Class win at the Rolls Royce
Enthusiats' Club Annual Event in Northhamptonshire, England. While at
the RREC event, the car was also awarded the Phantom III trophy.
This
magnificent vehicle has enjoyed great success since the completion of the L'Cars
restoration, and we look forward to its future achievements!
